My guest this week is Remy Bertrand, a Frenchman in London and a master improviser.
Kicked out of theatre school at 15, Remy worked a succession of jobs that never quite fulfilled him. Nearing 40, he realised that improv was his passion and it was time to plunge in and build a business around it.
With a loan from the bank, Remy gave himself a year to build a business. It took another three before he had something that regularly paid the bills. He now has a thriving improv operation attracting actors, artists and executives.
In this episode, we bring you:
– Why improv is not what you see on TV
– How improv helps with social anxiety
– Why so many people are choosing to train in improv right now
– Improv for self-knowledge
– A live demo
Enjoy!
